Alcalde de Caracas y candidato a la reelección por el Partido Unido de Venezuela (PSUV), Jorge Rodríguez, llevó a cabo en la tarde de este miércoles una inspección en los trabajos de la primera etapa del Polideportivo de la parroquia El Valle, el cual se proyecta como un conjunto integral para la recreación y el deporte, contribuyendo al desarrollo de organizaciones deportivas y creando espacios públicos para toda la comunidad de El Valle.
El mencionado macro centro deportivo se realizara en 3 etapas y estará ubicado entre la Av. Intercomunal de El Valle y el Barrio Bruzual , y tendrá un área de construcción de 12.660 metros cuadrados. Contará con un campo de béisbol menor, 2 canchas de usos múltiples (voleibol, baloncesto, futbol de salón), piscina, deportes de mesa, parques infantiles, parques biosaludables, muro de proyección, cine al aire libre, muro de escalada, cafetín, casa de los abuelos.
Actualmente están en la etapa 1 donde se estarán terminando las Multicanchas techadas, el área de maquinas biosaludables, parque infantil, el pavimento que servirá a la continuación del bulevar y la plaza-anfiteatro.
Rodríguez explicó que estas es una de las más “sentidas y luchadas peticiones por parte de los habitantes de El Valle. Aquí hay personas que han luchado con mucha fuerza por algo que ya es una realidad” añadió con respecto al polideportivo que estará ubicado en Bruzual. “este es un acto de añor, cariño de ustedes por su parroquia” enfatizó.
Según palabras del Alcalde de Caracas “este es el primer polideportivo de los 9 que comenzamos hace poco. Ya reinauguramos uno que es El Centro Socialista para el Buen Vivir, antiguo Ymca de San Martín. Y no solo eso, el presidente Nicolás Maduro aprobó 236 mil bolívares para la construcción de otros 12. Entonces, contaremos con 21 centro para la convivencia , el deporte y la recreación”.
Para Carolina Figueroa, habitante del Barrio 19 de Abril de la parroquia El Valle, este es “un sueño hecho realidad que gracias al Alcalde de Caracas veremos cumplidos después de más de 15 años de espera. Estos eran espacios que eran subutilizados para colocar camiones del Metro de Caracas y a partir de ahora, será el centro que necesitamos para mantener a nuestros hijos, nietos, sobrinos y amigos alejados de los malos hábitos. Gracias Jorge Rodríguez, Caracas también te quiere”.
