Barrido, rastrilleo y pulitura de pisos, son algunas de las labores realizadas por personal experto.
Caracas 26 de febrero 2013.- La Alcaldía del Municipio Bolivariano Libertador, a través de la Fundación para el Desarrollo y Defensa del Patrimonio Cultural de Caracas (Fundapatrimonio), realizó mantenimiento integral a la Plaza Memorial a los Caídos del 27F, ubicada en el Cementerio General del Sur, parroquia Santa Rosalía.
Las labores llevadas a cabo por personal experto constaron de barrido, remoción de escombros, rastrilleo, pulitura de pisos, pintura, mantenimiento cíclico de las jardineras, así como limpieza de las estatuillas que hacen vida en este espacio, con productos químicos especiales para su cuidado.
Asimismo, los trabajos realizados están enmarcados en la conmemoración de los 24 años, desde la histórica fecha del 27 de Febrero de 1989, donde el pueblo se alzó en contra de unas medidas económicas dirigidas por un partido político derechista.
Es así, como la Alcaldía de Caracas se encuentra permanentemente ejecutando trabajos de mantenimiento, en los más de un millón de espacios recuperados para el disfrute de la ciudadanía.
Plaza Memorial a los caídos del 27F: recuerda a sus mártires
La ciudad de Caracas, ha tenido acontecimientos históricos relevantes, como es el caso de “El Caracazo”, serie de fuertes protestas y disturbios acaecidos el 27 de febrero de 1989, donde cientos de compatriotas perdieron la vida en manos de los cuerpos policiales que estaban al mando del Gobierno de la derecha, siendo los más afectados los venezolanos.
Por esa razón, el Gobierno Bolivariano, la Alcaldía de Caracas, a través de Fundapatrimonio, el Gobierno del Distrito Capital (GDC), recuerdan estos hechos rindiendo tributo a los mártires con una monumental Plaza denominada “Memorial a los Caídos del 27F”.
Este espacio es símbolo de admiración, ya que podemos disfrutar de un espejo de agua y en su centro una monumental escultura denominada “Biosílice”, obra original del artista plástico, Alfredo Ramírez.
