En el bloque 27 del 23 de Enero
Conjuntamente con la instalación de los parques infantiles se han colocado gimnasios al aire libre y aparatos para que las personas con discapacidad puedan ejercitarse.

Caracas, 23 de diciembre.- El Alcalde de Caracas, Jorge Rodríguez, como resultado de una asamblea con los habitantes de los bloques 26, 27 y 28 de la zona central del 23 de Enero, en la cual, según expresó, se discutieron “los problemas que tienen aquí en el bloque 27, y una de las necesidades era precisamente un parque para las niñas y los niños de estos bloques”, realizó la inauguración formal del parque urbano n° 200 que se instala en el Municipio Bolivariano Libertador.
El burgomaestre, agregó, “estamos felices de estar aquí en el bloque 27 del 23 de Enero, hace aproximadamente 2 meses tuvimos una asamblea con las hermanas y los hermanos habitantes de los bloques 26, 27 y 28, y hoy le estamos dando repuesta a una de sus necesidades, y que mejor regalo que el último parque infantil instalado en la ciudad de Caracas, el número 200”.
Rodríguez comentó que, “todavía recuerdo aquel día que instalamos el primer parque en la Avenida Lecuna de la ciudad de Caracas, y allí señalamos la razón del éxito del parque que tiene con los niños del sector, por lo que anunciamos en aquel momento que instalaríamos 200 parques infantiles en todas las parroquias, por supuesto los enemigos de la alegría y la ternura, permanentemente señalaron que no íbamos a instalar los parques, que no íbamos a cumplir con la meta y se equivocaron”.
Jorge Rodríguez, destacó que estas acciones son gracias al esfuerzo del gobierno de Hugo Chávez Frías, del Gobierno del Distrito Capital, de la Alcaldía de Caracas, donde se han invertido más de 75 millones de Bolívares en la instalación de los 200 parques infantiles en las 22 parroquias.
El burgomaestre explicó que estas estructuras tienen una filosofía, “la cual persigue permanentemente ir rescatando los espacios para el encuentro, el espacio público, el espacio que nos pertenece a todas y todos, el espacio que es gratuito, el espacio que es más noble y más compañero, porque es donde todos nos podemos encontrar para el esparcimiento y el deporte”.
Asimismo, destacó que se han recuperado más de un millón de metros cuadrados en los últimos 2 años para la ciudad de Caracas, en forma de parques, bulevares y plazas, “hoy con la instalación de este parque número 200, estamos cumpliendo con la meta prevista”.
Rodríguez señaló que, “este parque en forma de un bello barco, para que los niños naveguen hacia la paz, hacia la alegría, hacia la armonía, hacia el futuro, hacia la patria buena que es el mayor regalo que el Presidente Hugo Chávez nos ha dado a todos los habitantes, y que los niños se monten en ese barco para continuar navegando en la revolución bolivariana”.
Igualmente el Alcalde de Caracas, informó que en enero se iniciarán las labores de recuperación de los bloques 26, 27 y 28 de la zona central del 23 de Enero, “tuvimos algunos problemas con las empresas que se habían ocupado de la obra pero ahora fue la comunidad la que decidió cómo se iban a reparar”.
“El presidente Hugo Chávez aprobó más de 80 millones de bolívares para iniciar el proceso de recuperación de los bloques restantes del 23 de Enero”, recordó Rodríguez. De esta manera la Alcaldía de Caracas conjuntamente con la comunidad organizada trabajan por recuperar sus espacios para el disfrute de las caraqueñas y los caraqueños.
