El jefe de la delegación venezolana por parte del Gobierno Nacional, Jorge Rodríguez, indicó este jueves que se avanzaron en la mayoría puntos en las mesas de diálogo que se lleva a cabo en República Dominicana, con representantes de la oposición venezolana para consolidar la paz y la estabilidad de la República.
En declaraciones transmitidas por Venezolana de Televisión, Rodríguez señaló que entre los acuerdos suscritos con la oposición venezolana se encuentran «todos los aspectos relacionados con la soberanía y el rechazo y repudio a cualquier forma de sanción o cualquier forma de agresión económica», así como las garantías electorales para los próximos comicios presidenciales que se realizarán este año.
Este acuerdo, detalló Jorge Rodríguez, «incluye garantías electorales amplias, extensas garantías electorales, con miras de próximo evento electoral presidencial. Entre esas garantías, no solamente están incluida los elementos de seguridad de nuestro sistema electoral automatizado, sino también la presencia de una observación electoral internacional amplia, acuerdo ya con la oposición venezolana».
En este sentido, señaló que la delegación del Gobierno Nacional propone al expresidente español José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero para que encabece esta misión de observación electoral.
Otro de los puntos acordados, detalló Jorge Rordríguez, se encuentra «la normalización institucional en respecto a las instituciones, los Poderes Públicos constituidos, y el poder Público Constituyente», así como la «atención de la situación económica y social, a través de comisiones de trabajo, que nos permitan atender de forma directa y expedita la situaciones que se presentan» en el país.
Desde la cancillería de República Dominicana, donde se llevaría a cabo el encuentro de este jueves con la oposición, el también ministro para la Comunicación e Información señaló que solo faltaban dos de los seis puntos que se encontraban en la mesa de diálogo – suscritos desde diciembre pasado – para firmar un acuerdo definitivo para consolidar la paz y la estabilidad de la República, acto que se tenía previsto realizar este viernes.
El pasado 13 de enero, señaló Rodríguez, se convocó a una reunión entre las partes para discutir los temas en los que no se tenían acuerdos definitivos.
«Se convocó a una reunión el día de ayer miércoles 17 de enero, y esa reunión se suscitó a las 11:30 de la mañana en Hotel Meliá de la Ciudad de Caracas. Dos representantes de la oposición venezolana, dos representantes del Gobierno Bolivariano y aquí acercamos posiciones respecto a los dos puntos que faltaban ser afinados y acordados. E incluso, en esa reunión, se estableció que hoy en la noche sostendríamos una reunión de trabajo con los cancilleres para afinar y lograr la firma del acuerdo el día de mañana», recalcó.
Al respecto, lamentó la ausencia de la delegación de la oposición venezolana en la reunión de este jueves, debido a que estaba previamente acordada. Señaló que esta decisión se debe a que este sector «sucumbe a las presiones de aquellos se niegan a la salida electoral en Venezuela».
En este sentido, el ministro Rodríguez reiteró el compromiso del Gobierno Nacional de continuar con las conversaciones con la oposición venezolana, con el fin de consolidar la paz.
«El pasado sábado 13 de enero, fuimos convocados para una reunión en República Dominicana los días 18 y 19 de enero, y aquí estamos en una expresión de madurez y de la adultez, respetando la palabra empeñada», aseveró.
«(Tenemos) una indeclinable vocación para que sea la paz y la convivencia pacífica, para que cualquier tipo de elemento que se presente en la vida política de Venezuela, puedan dirimir por vías pacíficas, constitucionales, no por la vía de la violencia, del odio, de las campañas psicológicas, no por la vía de las sanciones y bloqueo económico. Tiene que ser a través del diálogo entre venezolanos, a través de las fórmulas constitucionales, pacíficas, democráticas, electorales», agregó.
