En la sede del Teatro Principal de Caracas, en Alcalde reelecto del Municipio Bolivariano Libertador, Jorge Rodríguez, realizó una rueda de prensa para dar a conocer los resultados de los comicios municipales que se llevaron a cabo el domingo 08 de diciembre en todo el territorio nacional.
En este sentido, informó que en dichas elecciones municipales la alianza perfecta del Partido Socialista Unido de Venezuela (PSUV) obtuvo 242 Alcaldías, de las 335, para un total de votos de 5.227.491. Mientras que los partidos de la Mesa Unidad Democrática (MUD), obtuvieron solo 75 alcaldías.
El Alcalde reelecto del Municipio Bolivariano Libertador, Informó que el día de ayer el Consejo Nacional Electoral (CNE), dio el reporte final de los resultados de las Elecciones Municipales 2013, “en nombre del Comando Bolívar-Chávez, nosotros vamos a hacer también nuestro reporte de siempre, y al mismo tiempo aclarar en aras del dialogo, en aras del respeto del pueblo de Venezuela, algunos elementos que se han intentado sembrar con matrices a los que ya nos tienen acostumbrados algunos factores sectores políticos y algunos medios de comunicación”.
Indicó, que todo dialogo debe estar basado en la sustentación de verdades, argumentos, el debate de ideas. Como lo dijo el Mariscal de Ayacucho, “Honor al vencido y Gloria al vencedor”.
Rodríguez, manifestó, que una de las matrices es la que tiene que ver con la participación de electoral el pasado 08 de diciembre es la dicha por el diario El Universal, que el ausentismo se hizo presente en la jornada electoral.
Según el CNE las elecciones municipales del domingo pasado tuvieron una participación de 58.9%, “en esta elección se observó la más alta participación en la historia para una elección municipal de Alcaldes y Concejales”.
Por esta razón, felicito a todos los venezolanos y venezolanas por esta gran muestra de democracia participativa, y dejando como el gran vencedor a los partidos de la alianza patriótica, y el gran despliegue de las Unidades de Batalla Bolívar- Chávez (UBCH). Rodríguez finalizó que las fuerzas de la revolución obtuvieron mayoría en 23 de los 24 estados de Venezuela.
