El Gobierno venezolano está listo para lograr un acuerdo con la oposición en el encuentro de diálogo de paz que se instala este lunes en República Dominicana, ratificó el jefe de la delegación gubernamental en el proceso de diálogo, Jorge Rodríguez.
«Somos gente de diálogo, de paz. Estamos listos para lograr un acuerdo con los sectores de la oposición venezolana que están hoy aquí en esta mesa de diálogo», indicó a los medios al llegar a la sede de la Cancillería en Santo Domingo.
Rodríguez manifestó que existe un documento preliminar que permite señalar que faltan muy pocas cosas para lograr un acuerdo.
«Creo que debemos seguir siendo optimista respecto al desarrollo de esta mesa de diálogo. Estamos desde hace algún tiempo muy cerca de un acuerdo», refirió.
El también ministro de Comunicación e Información ratificó que Venezuela no acepta injerencias de ningún país y reiteró la voluntad del Ejecutivo de resolver, por la vía del diálogo, los asuntos internos de la nación.
«No toleramos, no hemos tolerado ni toleraremos groseras injerencias de país alguno en los asuntos que solamente debe resolver Venezuela», enfatizó.
Por su parte, la presidenta de la Asamblea Nacional Constituyente (ANC), Delcy Rodríguez, también integrante de la delegación, indicó en Twitter que «no hay otro camino para Venezuela que el diálogo, el entendimiento democrático y el respeto a la voluntad del pueblo! #DiálogoYPazXVenezuela».
De acuerdo con reportes de medios locales, a la Cancillería dominicana también llegó la delegación opositora conformada por Julio Borges, Luis Aquiles Moreno, Luis Carlos Padilla, Simon Calzadilla, Manuel Rosales y Enrique Márquez.
El encuentro en Santo Domingo cuenta con el acompañamiento del presidente dominicano, Danilo Medina, y del expresidente del Gobierno español, José Luis Zapatero.
En la última reunión entre el 11 y el 13 de enero en República Dominica ambas delegaciones estuvieron a las puertas de firmar el documento definitivo que contempla la celebración de elecciones presidenciales en el primer semestre de 2018. Sobre este punto la Asamblea Nacional Constituyente aprobó el 23 del mes en curso la realización de los comicios en el primer cuatrimestre de este año.
En la agenda se incluyeron las garantías electorales, observación en los comicios, creación de una comisión social y económica, compromiso para que la Asamblea Nacional saliera del desacato y reconocimiento a la ANC. Igualmente, en el borrador del acuerdo se convino que la oposición repudiara las sanciones económicas y financieras que contra el pueblo venezolano ha establecido el gobierno de Estados Unidos y sus aliados internacionales.
