Caracas, 20 de noviembre de 2017.- La instalación de una comisión conjunta con el Ministerio para el Proceso Social del Trabajo que avance en la Convención Colectiva de los más de 22 mil trabajadores de la Alcaldía de Caracas, fue uno de los alcances del encuentro entre la candidata de la Patria, Erika Farías, y las mujeres y hombres que laboran en la municipalidad.
Desde el Teatro Nacional, Farías recibió el apoyo de los trabajadores, al tiempo que realizó profundas reflexiones acerca del rol histórico que se está jugando el pueblo venezolano frente a las agresiones imperiales y llamó a consolidar la victoria de este 10 de diciembre. Destacó el valor patriota de la fuerza laboral que ha hecho posible el sueño del Comandante Eterno Hugo Chávez de recuperar a Caracas.
Acompañada del alcalde de Caracas, Luis Lira, y el tren directivo de la gestión del alcalde Jorge Rodríguez, Farías envió un mensaje de respaldo a los trabajadores: “Se trata de ganar y ganar bien. Solo nosotros podemos consolidar el proyecto de la Patria”, y agregó que esta fase será un nuevo impulso para reelegir al presidente de la República Nicolás Maduro este 2018.
Por su parte, Lira enumeró las obras más emblemáticas logradas en ocho años de gestión por parte de la clase trabajadora, donde destacó las 1.734 viviendas en 11 urbanismos, 460 pequeñas obras en los corredores de Barrio Tricolor y más de 1 millón 800 mil metros cuadrados de espacios recuperados.
“Aquí se encuentran los trabajadores de los 22 entes que dieron la batalla durante estos años de asedio a Caracas por parte de la derecha nacional e internacional por ser la cuna de las ideas libertarias y que albergó al más grande de los hombres de este siglo: el Comandante Hugo Chávez”, resaltó Lira.
Otros temas laborales tratados en el encuentro fueron la de transporte, dotación de uniformes y el estudio de planes de vivienda, así como de alimentación.
