Caracas, 3 de noviembre de 2017.- El Presidente de la República, Nicolás Maduro Moros, anunció que el dirigente político y jefe del Comando de Campaña Zamora 200, Jorge Rodríguez, estará al frente del Ministerio del Poder Popular para la Comunicación y la Información.
«A partir de hoy, Jorge Rodríguez, es el nuevo Ministro de Comunicación e Información de la Revolución Bolivariana, bienvenido ministro», destacó Maduro.
El Mandatario Nacional ofreció estas declaraciones durante la inauguración de la sede de la Academia Militar de Medicina Ezequiel Zamora ubicada en Caracas. Por su parte, Ernesto Villegas, pasará a ocupar responsabilidades como Ministro del Poder Popular para la Cultura.
El Presidente destacó la exitosa Gestión, de nueve años, que lideró Rodríguez como Alcalde de Caracas.
“Quiero felicitar a Jorge Rodríguez y quiero que todos le demos un aplauso de agradecimiento por su entrega, su compromiso, su honestidad, su trabajo permanente y toda su lealtad al comandante Chávez y a mí».
