Caracas, 20 de abril de 2017.- El Jefe del Estado Mayor de Gobierno de Caracas, Jorge Rodríguez, expresó que líderes de la oposición venezolana desean que existan focos de violencia que traigan como consecuencia pérdidas de vidas y bienes materiales, refiriéndose al saldo de muertos y heridos que arrojó la movilización opositora del pasado 19 de abril.
Durante el programa “Entrevista Venevisión”, trasmitido por esta planta televisiva, Jorge Rodríguez manifestó que “no es la primera vez que la oposición venezolana de forma irresponsable convoca al desbordamiento de la violencia. Afortunadamente nosotros tuvimos la más multitudinaria de las marchas, el pueblo revolucionario salió a manifestar su deseo de vivir en paz, democracia y que se respete la Constitución”.
Rodríguez, comentó que en la parroquia El Paraíso sectores violentos realizaron destrozos en varios locales. “Ayer en la avenida Páez destrozaron una serie de comercios, panaderías, licorerías y McDonald’s (…) lo que resulta curioso es que yo me atrevo a decir que la gran mayoría de los dueños de esos locales votan por la oposición venezolana y son ellos mismos los que envían a destrozar los comercios”, afirmó.
El también Alcalde de Caracas, comentó que el Plan Zamora, decretado por el presidente de la República, Nicolás Maduro, continúa en ejecución. “Intentaban generar un acontecimiento que les permitiera mostrar algunos eventos de guerra psicológica y de manipulación mediática para poder reeditar el expediente del 11 de abril del 2002, nada de eso ocurrió porque fue desactivado y denunciado”.
Diálogo y elecciones regionales
El presidente Nicolás Maduro, durante su alocución en la marcha multitudinaria realizada por la Revolución venezolana el pasado 19 de abril, volvió a extender la invitación a los líderes de la derecha venezolana a retomar el diálogo nacional.
“El año pasado se había avanzado bastante con los ex presidentes, representantes del vaticano y Mercosur, pero ellos (la oposición) se levantaron de la mesa porque tienen grandes tensiones en el seno de su dirigencia”, afirmó Jorge Rodríguez, quien retoma responsabilidades como Jefe de la Delegación del Gobierno ante Mesa de Diálogo de Paz.
Asimismo, Rodríguez destacó que habrá elecciones en el país, ya que el Gobierno Bolivariano es el más interesado. Indicó que se debe cumplir con el cronograma electoral: “hay que esperar el proceso de validación de los partidos”.
Al respecto, subrayó que Venezuela no es Estados Unidos ni España donde convoca elecciones el Poder Ejecutivo, “en el país existe una separación de poderes. El Poder Electoral elaboró un cronograma de actividades para este año 2017”.
Para finalizar, Jorge Rodríguez recalcó que el presidente Maduro desea llevar una propuesta a los líderes de la oposición venezolana, para poder mediar en paz sus diferencias.
