El director general de Insetra, Luis Lira informó que el dispositivo de seguridad Semana Santa Segura 2013 se está realizando de acuerdo a lo esperado.
Caracas, 27 de marzo de 2013.- El director general del Instituto Municipal de Seguridad y Transporte (Insetra), Luis Lira, realizó este miércoles una rueda desde el Terminal Terrestre La Bandera, para dar un balance oficial sobre el dispositivo de seguridad Semana Santa Segura 2013.
“Desde el viernes 22 de marzo ya han salido hacia el occidente del país cerca de 150 mil personas en más de 3600 unidades a los distintos destinos del occidente del país”, informó Lira. Del mismo modo sostuvo que los destinos más solicitados en cuanto a rutas cortas son: La Victoria, Turmero, San Juan de los Morros, Valencia y Maracay. Mientras que la demanda para las rutas largas son: Maracaibo, Mérida, El Vigía, Barquisimeto y Barinas.
El funcionario indicó que el terminal ha tomado todas las previsiones para facilitar el traslado, ida y vuelta, de gran cantidad de temporadistas: “el operativo se está realizando de acuerdo a lo esperado. Se ha preparado movilizar a 240 mil personas y de igual modo estaremos activos hasta el día martes esperando el retorno”.
El director general de Insetra también resaltó que hasta los momentos se han expedido más de 2600 permisos de viajes para menores de edad en las oficinas que se encuentran ubicadas en las instalaciones del Terminal Terrestre La Bandera.
En cuanto a la seguridad, Lira informó que hay 356 funcionarios, entre los cuales destaca un grupo de 226 pertenecientes a la Policía Municipal de Caracas (226), que trabajará en conjunto con la Policía Nacional Bolivariana, la Guardia Nacional Bolivariana, el Cuerpo Técnico de Vigilancia de Tránsito y Transporte Terrestre, el Indepabis 10 y la Oficina Nacional Antidroga. Los cuerpos de seguridad efectuarán la revisión interna, externa y mecánica de los autobuses a fin de garantizar la normalidad del recorrido “hay un operativo permanente con funcionarios de vialidad y tránsito terrestre quienes tienen la facultad de supervisar las unidades, hasta los momentos no han tenido inconvenientes con la supervisión, todo ha salido en completa normalidad (…) la Oficina Nacional Antidroga continúa hasta el cierre del operativo Semana Santa Segura 2013, colaboran de manera permanente con nosotros siguen tomando las muestras toxicológicas”.
La Alcaldía de Caracas, se integra al dispositivo de seguridad Semana Santa Segura 2013, enmarcado en la Gran Misión “A Toda Vida Venezuela”, garantizando la canalización de denuncias, regulación de tarifas y la normalidad de los traslados desde el Terminal Terrestre La Bandera para que todas y todos puedan disfrutar los días de asueto de manera sana y libre de riesgos.
