Caracas, 02 de Octubre. El candidato a la Alcaldía Libertador, por el Partido Socialista Unido de Venezuela, Jorge Rodríguez, se reunió con los Concejales del Municipio Libertador con el fin de ir, conjuntamente, adelantando un esquema de trabajo que permita desarrollar a cabalidad el programa de gobierno realizado por el poder popular. El encuentro se llevo a cabo en el Hotel ALBA Caracas.
A su salida, el candidato expresó: «hemos tenido una reunión muy fructífera, muy nutrida, con los concejales del Municipio Libertador, estamos en el proceso de consolidar la unidad de la fuerza revolucionaria, la fuerza chavista, la fuerza bolivariana, en toda la ciudad de Caracas».
Para Rodríguez, la construcción de la Caracas Socialista requiere necesariamente de un modelo de gestión basado en la parroquialización, es decir, realizado desde las bases populares. «La unidad y la articulación con los consejos comunales, las comunidades, es fundamental para la consolidación del proceso revolucionario, la unidad es nuestra principal arma de combate», dijo.
Jorge Rodríguez, enfatizó que los concejales revolucionarios han venido trabajando en las distintas parroquias de Caracas y la idea es seguir profundizando este proceso. «La reunión nos permitió analizar todo el proceso de aprobación de Ordenanzas y acciones que se han dado por parte de nuestros concejales».
Por su parte, la Consejala Rosaida Hernandez, manifestó toda la voluntad política que existe por parte de Jorge Rodríguez y los Concejales del Municipio Libertador, para mancomunar esfuerzos junto al pueblo, en función de seguir construyendo la nueva gestión del gobierno revolucionario, dándole continuidad a todo lo que hasta los momentos ha sido positivo y con una conciencia autocrítica para ser capaces de corregir cualquier falla, todo esto en aras de la construcción de la Caracas Socialista.
